The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) recently investigated the care of of a 67-year-old woman who was treated at Broomfield Hospital, run by the Trust, in 2023. Her death has triggered a systemic review of cancer treatment and diagnosis wait times at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust.

La IIIe Édition italienne de la Conférence internationale des Ombudsmans se tiendra à Rome les 28 et 29 mai 2026, au Parlement italien. Cette Conférence constitue un rendez-vous de tout premier plan international, réunissant Ombudsmans, Médiateurs, experts, universitaires et représentants institutionnels issus de nombreux pays et continents, confirmant le rôle central des institutions de contrôle dans la protection des droits fondamentaux et le renforcement des systèmes démocratiques.
