IOI Best Practice Papers
The IOI introduces a new publication series of best practice papers with a view to provide guidance material in the form of a series of papers to address the key features which inform strong and independent control mechanisms.
IOI Annual Reports
The IOI publishes its Annual Report every year, to inform about membership matters as well as about IOI projects in the past and in the future. The Report is released in the three official languages of the IOI (English, French, Spanish).
In order to commemorate the 40th anniversary of its foundation in 1978, the IOI decided to embark on a publication project and commissioned Professor Richard Carver, Senior Lecturer in Human Rights and Governance at Oxford Brooks University, with the task of writing a “History of the IOI”. Print copies of Richard Carver's book on “A Mission to Justice – The International Ombudsman Institute 1978-2018” can be purchased from the IOI.
The key data of all IOI member institutions is available on the IOI website and the Secretariat is continuously working to improve the available data. The IOI Directory itself can be easily downloaded in PDF format for further use.
