The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab deputed a six-member delegation to participate in a specialized training programme hosted by the Ombudsman Institution of Türkiye in Ankara from 4–8 May 2026. The visit was organized under the framework of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Ombudsman Association (OICOA) and provided a valuable platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience, and best practices in the field of administrative justice and public grievance redressal.

Control Yuan’s Committee on Social Welfare and Environmental Hygiene Affairs inspects the Climate Change Administration, focusing on the implementation of carbon fees and progress in greenhouse gas reduction
To urge the government to implement Taiwan’s 2050 net-zero emissions target, the Control Yuan (CY)’s Committee on Social Welfare and Environmental Hygiene Affairs conducted an inspection visit to the Climate Change Administration (CCA) of the Ministry of Environment on May 8, 2026. The inspection focused on gaining an in-depth understanding of Taiwan’s effectiveness in reducing greenhouse gases, the issuance of domestic carbon credits, and the implementation of the carbon fee system.

Ombudsman meets with Deputy Secretary of Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and Vice Chairman of National Commission of Supervision
The Ombudsman, Mr Jack Chan, on 9 June met with the Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and Vice Chairman of the National Commission of Supervision (“NCS”), Mr Fu Kui. Leading an NCS delegation to pay an official visit to Hong Kong, Mr Fu called on the Office of The Ombudsman and exchanged views with Mr Chan and the directorate.

Dépôt du rapport annuel 2024 de l'Ombudsman de Montréal
L'Ombudsman de Montréal, Me Nadine Mailloux, a déposé le 16 juin 2025 son rapport annuel 2024 au conseil municipal. Avec 2 164 dossiers traités, 192 enquêtes lancées, dont 50 de sa propre initiative, et 16 engagements obtenus de la part de la Ville, l'année 2024 illustre, une fois de plus, la pertinence et l'efficacité de cette instance indépendante qui veille à ce que les Montréalais et Montréalaises obtiennent les services auxquels ils ont droit, et que leur confiance dans la capacité de la Ville de corriger le tir quand c'est nécessaire soit restaurée.

Pacto contra la segregación escolar
El 11 de junio de 2025 tuvo lugar la novena reunión de la Comisión de Seguimiento del Pacto contra la segregación escolar. El Pacto está impulsado por la institución del Síndic de Greuges de Cataluña y el Departamento de Educación, junto con la mayoría de municipios de más de 5.000 habitantes, y miembros de la comunidad educativa y del arco parlamentario e institucional.

Two Days Awareness Sessions at District Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
After a successful organization of awareness sessions at District headquarter, Malakand, another two sessions were organized by the Provincial Ombudsman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in district Haripur. In order to inform the locals of the area about the role and responsibilities of the Ombudsman Institution, TMA Hall Haripur and University of Haripur were selected for the purpose. This project was supported by the IOI's Regional Subsidies Programme.
