She will also advocate for the establishment of a children's rights ombudsman in Slovenia, who would be able to operate autonomously within the Ombudsman's institution.

The workshop served as a platform for shared learning, experience exchange, and alignment on best practices across diverse administrative domains.

Renforcer la contribution institutionnelle des Médiateurs francophones à l’Examen Périodique Universel : une formation à Rabat
Du 21 au 23 octobre 2025, l’AOMF a organisé à Rabat, au Maroc, une formation consacrée au thème « Vers une contribution institutionnelle du Médiateur à l’Examen Périodique Universel (EPU) ». Cette rencontre, destinée à renforcer le rôle des Médiateurs dans le système onusien de protection des droits de l’Homme, a été rendue possible grâce à l’accueil et à l’engagement logistique de l’Institution du Médiateur du Royaume du Maroc, membre de l’AOMF, qui a une nouvelle fois témoigné son attachement aux travaux de l’association. La réussite de cette rencontre est également le fruit du soutien de l’Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), présente à l’événement.

Ombudsman Ontario célèbre son 50e anniversaire
Le 31 octobre 2025, l’Ombudsman de l’Ontario, Paul Dubé, a marqué le 50e anniversaire de son Bureau en remerciant son équipe et ses prédécesseur(e)s pour leur rôle dans l’établissement d’une « institution démocratique essentielle » qui a contribué à améliorer les services publics pour des millions d’Ontarien(ne)s.

On 27 January 2026, the Commonwealth Ombudsman released a new report, ‘Following the law is not optional - an investigation to address an ongoing issue of agency non-compliance with the law’. The Ombudsman’s investigation found 2 Australian government agencies were aware of an instance of the law not being applied correctly to decisions about child support payments.
