The upcoming municipal elections in Poland created a good opportunity to discuss the problems faced by residents of communes, districts and voivodeships. For this purpose, the Human Rights Defender has created a second index of problems developed on the basis of requests and complaints received by the Office of the Human Rights Defender.

The Ethiopian Institution of the Ombudsman (EIO) hosted the African Ombudsman and Mediators Association (AOMA) - African Union (AU) 1^st Bilateral Conference and 4^th General Assembly from 4 to 7 November 2014 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
