Sindh Ombudsman establishes Climate & Disaster Justice Unit
The Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Mr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput, inaugurated the one-of-its-kind Climate & Disaster Justice Unit, a pioneering initiative to ensure expeditious and justifiable redressal of complaints stemming from climate-related and man-made disasters. The Unit will be a fast-paced mechanism resolving issues of delay, corruption, or neglect in relief, rehabilitation and public service delivery. It will be working on safeguarding vulnerable groups, inclusive governance, and coordination with UN agencies, NGOs, and civil society.

2025 Complaint Handling Forum
From 27 - 31 October 2025, the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman will host its annual Complaint Handling Forum. The 5-part virtual forum will feature speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including an Ombudsman panel discussion featuring the Commonwealth Ombudsman, Iain Anderson, Tax Ombudsman, Ruth Owen and Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, Cynthia Gebert.

The State Comptroller and Ombudsman presented the Ombudsman's 51st Annual Report to the Speaker of the Knesset
On July 1, 2025 the State Comptroller and Ombudsman of Israel, Mr. Matanyahu Englman, presented to the Speaker of the Knesset (Israeli parliament) the Ombudsman Annual Report 51 for the year 2024. Nearly 22,000 complaints were received in 2024 representing an increase of 50% compared with 2019.

The NSW Ombudsman tabled the 3rd biannual investigations and complaints summary report titled: Casebook July 2025: Investigations and complaint-handling case studies in Parliament on 31 July 2025. The report provides a glimpse into the thousands of complaints the Ombudsman receives each year, and some of the positive outcomes achieved.
