On 26 August the African Ombudsman Research Centre (AORC) held a webinar under the theme Celebrating South African Women’s Month – Gender-Inclusive Policies: A Guide for Ombudsman Offices.
This session, organized by the African Ombudsman Research Centre (AORC), the research and training arm of AOMA, based at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), in partnership with the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) and with the support of the Office of the Public Protector South Africa (PPSA), highlighted how Ombudsman offices can advance gender equality through inclusive internal policies, equitable complaint handling, and systemic advocacy.
