El 23 de marzo de 2022 se dieron a conocer los fundamentos de la sentencia emitida por el Tribunal Oral en lo Criminal Federal N°1 de La Plata en el marco de un caso por hechos de torturas impuestas por agentes del SPF contra dos detenidos en diciembre de 2007 en el Complejo Penitenciario Federal Nº I.

A delegation of the Board of Directors of the European Region of the IOI - International Ombudsman Institute, headed by Regional President and Ombudsman of Greece Andreas Pottakis and Board member and Ombudsman of Slovenia Peter Svetina, visited Hungary on 16 and 17 March. They met with their host, Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary Ákos Kozma, in Budapest on 16 March.

International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) is embarking on a two-day visit to
Hungary, from the 16th to the 18th of March, responding to the invitation of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights of Hungary, Akos Kozma.

In his current newsletter editions, the Hungarian Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Dr. Ákos Kozma, focuses on the war in Ukraine and he calls for solidarity and the protection of human rights.
