La Sindicatura de Greuges de Barcelona participó en la reunión de trabajo anual de iDEM, un proyecto europeo para mejorar la accesibilidad y la inclusividad en procesos participativos. Los doce miembros del consorcio de esta iniciativa, entre los que se encuentra la Sindicatura, se reúnieron en Leeds (Reino Unido) el 8 y 9 de mayo de 2025 para poner en común los avances realizados y para definir los pasos a seguir del proyecto el Innovative and Inclusive Democratic Spaces for Deliberation and Participation (iDEM).

Entrega de los XX Premios del Concurso de Dibujos sobre DDHH
El Defensor del Pueblo, Ángel Gabilondo, ha entregado el lunes, el 12 de mayo de 2025, los premios de la XX Edición del Concurso de Dibujo sobre Derechos Humanos Defensor del Pueblo, en un acto celebrado en la sede de la institución. En esta edición han participado 2.720 escolares -1.831 alumnos de Primaria, 839 de Secundaria y 50 Educación Especial- de 191 centros. Han resultado ganadores siete dibujos.

CDHCM destaca importancia de la mirada interdisciplinaria para proteger a la niñez en todos los procedimientos penales
La Presidenta de la CDHCM, Nashieli Ramírez Hernández, enfatizó la necesidad de abordar la justicia en materia de infancia desde una perspectiva de género, priorizar el Interés Superior de la Niñez, incorporar el control de convencionalidad y el análisis de contexto. Durante su participación en el «Ciclo de Conferencias: Código Nacional de Procedimientos Penales. Balance a 11 años de su publicación», organizado por la UNAM, resaltó la importancia de adoptar medidas de protección y salvaguarda en los procedimientos penales.

Celebration of the 20th anniversary of the election of the first Ombudsman in Angola
On April 22 and 23, 2025, the Central Ceremony and the International Conference marking the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the election of the first Ombudsman of the Republic of Angola took place at the Auditorium of the Palace of Justice in Luanda, under the theme: “Ombudsman: 20 Years Serving Citizens and the Democratic Rule of Law”, as part of the celebrations of the 50th Anniversary of National Independence. The main objective was to commemorate both the 50th anniversary of Angola’s Independence and the 20th anniversary of the election of the first Ombudsman, and to reflect on the role of the Ombudsman in a democratic state through experience-sharing with national and international public and private entities.
