Par le décret N-2020-0092/PT-RM du 13 Octobre 2020, le président de la Transition Bah N’daw, chef de l’État a nommé le mardi dernier, Mme Sanogo Aminata Mallé Médiateur de la République. Elle remplace à ce poste Baba Akhib Haidara qui était à la tête de cette institution depuis 2013.

Thai Ombudsman’s recommendations about mother’s rights in taking folic acid supplements
There have been complaints filed with the Ombudsman concerning the need for pregnant women to take folic acid (vitamin B9) supplements to prevent birth defects in newborns in a daily dose of 0.4 milligrams before pregnancy, especially during the three months before getting pregnant and the first three months of pregnancy.

Mr. François Boileauis the third person appointed to the position of Canada’s Taxpayers’ Ombudsperson. Prior to this nomination, Mr. Boileau was the French Language Services Commissioner as an independent Officer of the Ontario Legislative Assembly from 2007 to 2019.

On 28 September 2020, the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo elected Mr. Naim Qelaj as the new Ombudsperson of Kosovo for a five-year and non-renewable mandate. Mr Qelaj follows Hilmi Jashari, whose term as Ombudsman ended.

Investigación destinada a garantizar la seguridad en el entorno de los alojamientos de los trabajadores inmigrantes
Entre el 2017 y el 2018 ocurrieron algunos incendios en dormitorios de fábricas, los cuales provocaron varias muertes entre trabajadores inmigrantes y pusieron de relieve los problemas de seguridad en los dormitorios de estos, por ello el Yuan de Control (YC) inició una investigación.
