Peter Tyndall awarded Honorary Life Membership
Mr. Peter Tyndall, Ombudsman and Information Commissioner of Ireland and former President of the IOI, has been awarded IOI Honorary Life Membership. At its mid-term meeting on 15 November 2021, the IOI Board of Directors expressed its gratitude for Mr. Tyndall by acclamation for his long-term and very successful work as President of the IOI.

Lokayukt Madhya Pradesh inspect field units in Jabalpur
Honourable Justice Mr. P.P. Naolekar, Lokayukt MP inspected subordinate office at Jabalpur from 29.04.2016 to 03.05.2016. The visit was centered around inspection of Special Police Establishment (SPE) Office and Divisional vigilance Committee (DVC) Office as also on the efforts put in by prosecuting officers and the investigative agencies in ensuring early disposal of cases in various courts.

Rapport spécifique sur le vieillissement en SRA
En 2019, la Commission parlementaire de l’Action sociale, de la Santé et de la Fonction publique, dans le cadre de l'examen de la pétition intitulée « Vieillir dignement : des moyens supplémentaires pour les personnes avec déficience intellectuelle en service résidentiel », avait décidé de soumettre au Médiateur celle-ci pour avis. Sur base des éléments en sa possession, le Médiateur a décidé d’ouvrir une enquête afin de rendre un avis qui fait sens, auprès des services spécialisés visés.

Ombudsman publishes Guide of Prisoner’s First Contact
The Commissioner for Administration and the Protection of Human Rights (Ombudsman) published a Guide of Prisoner’s First Contact in English and in Greek. This publication was prepared by the Ombudsman in cooperation with lawyers of the Association of the Protection of the Rights of Prisoners & Ex-Prisoners and it takes in consideration the real experiences gained from persons who remained in custody either as detainees pending trial or convicts in the Central Prisons of the Republic of Cyprus.
