AUSTRALIA | Office of the Queensland Ombudsman presents new video on good decision-making

Decision-making in public agencies can be complicated. Even simple decisions can impact on you and members of the community.

So that’s why good decision-making is so important.

The Office of the Queensland Ombudsman has created a video as a brief overview of the topic. This video could be used in staff inductions or yearly training updates across the public sector to make people mindful of their obligations.

Kindly click here to watch the video.

This video supports their existing suite of good decisions material:

A prompt for public sector officers as they go about their daily tasks. To print and keep at workstations as officers make administrative decisions.

The reference book that we provide to all trainees. It is a detailed rundown of the stages of decision-making and a valuable reference to keep on hand.

An interactive, practical full day of training. Participants are given an opportunity to apply the training in group exercises, scenarios and case studies.
