The first ever peer review undertaken under the auspices of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) finds that the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) delivers an “efficient, enhanced and effective modern service” and provides significant value for stakeholders. It has become a much stronger organisation since a previous independent peer review in 2018.

Hon. Ombudsman Sindh, Mr. Ajaz Ali Khan, presented the Annual Report 2021 of the institution to the newly appointed Honourable Governor Sindh, Mr. Kamran Khan Tessori, on 18 November 2022. The Report highlights the performance, achievements and progress during the year 2021. During this period a total of 7,113 complaints were received, out of which 2,129 were admitted.

El 4 de enero de 2022 entró en vigor la enmendada Ley de Procedimiento del Tribunal Constitucional. Para tratar los posibles casos en los que el ejercicio de los poderes del Yuan de Control pudiera dar lugar un control de constitucionalidad o disputas de agencias, el Comité de Asuntos Judiciales y Administración Penitenciaria invitó al juez Hwang Jau-Yuan para ofrecer un discurso especial sobre el nuevo sistema procesal constitucional.
