El objetivo de la cumbre es establecer unas nuevas bases para gestionar eficazmente el problema del sinhogarismo y los asentamientos urbanos. La institución ha constatado un crecimiento significativo de personas en situación de extrema vulnerabilidad que viven en la calle, así como la preocupación de los vecinos por el deterioro del espacio público. El encuentro tendrá lugar el 11 de diciembre y se ha convocado a los municipios y entidades de la región metropolitana. Más adelante se ampliará a otras ciudades de todo el país.

The one-week, in-person programme is designed to provide young professionals from IOI member institutions with practical exposure to ombudsmanship, digital complaint management systems, outreach mechanisms, and institutional best practices.

Commonwealth Ombudsman – Report: Following the law is not optional - an investigation into ongoing non-compliance
On 27 January 2026, the Commonwealth Ombudsman released a new report, ‘Following the law is not optional - an investigation to address an ongoing issue of agency non-compliance with the law’. The Ombudsman’s investigation found 2 Australian government agencies were aware of an instance of the law not being applied correctly to decisions about child support payments.

L'Institution du Médiateur du Royaume signe une convention d'adhésion au Portail National du Droit d'Accès à l'Information
Le Médiateur du Royaume, Dr. Hassane Tariq, et M. Omar Seghrouchni, Président de la Commission pour le Droit d'Accès à l'Information (CDAI), se sont réunis lundi après-midi 1er décembre 2025, au siège de l'Institution du Médiateur. Cette rencontre était consacrée à l'examen des moyens de renforcer la coopération entre les deux institutions dans les domaines de la consolidation de la transparence de l'administration publique et de la consécration du droit des usagers à l'accès à l'information.
