The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab hosted the fourth batch of its International Internship Programme 2026 from 10–15 August 2026, welcoming a six-member delegation from the Project Management Bureau, Philippines. The delegation comprised Atty. Joseph Marion P. Navarrete, Karen Carla V. Paladio, Atty. Christian A. Fernandez, Villa Dooria Lim, Christopher Lilito A. Bacungan III, and Mr. Leandro T. Villarosa.
The five-day programme provided participants with comprehensive exposure to the institutional framework, complaint management systems and outreach mechanisms of the office. A key component of the programme was field exposure. The delegation observed the Awami Khidmat Mobile Van and interacted with complainants in Sargodha. They also visited the Regional Office Sialkot, where they observed daily operations and live hearings with the Advisor.
The programme further included cultural exposure through visits to Wazir Khan Masjid, Shahi Hamam, Lahore Fort, Badshahi Masjid and Wagah Border.
