More than 500 unread police welfare reports were uncovered during a Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman investigation into a safeguarding complaint about London Borough of Haringey.

La actuación municipal debe mejorar en cuanto al seguimiento y control del contrato con la empresa adjudicataria, ya que se han consolidado irregularidades graves, como infracciones laborales y una gestión que afecta negativamente a la calidad del servicio prestado. A parte de medidas para corregir la situación actual, es necesaria una transformación profunda del modelo, tal y como ya se planteaba en un informe monográfico de la Sindicatura publicado en junio.
