By 1 September, each year the Althingi Ombudsman submits his annual report on activities in the previous year. An excerpt of the annual report in English has now, for the first time, been made available on-line.

In response to the protest carried out by students of the faculty of law, University of Calabar, on Monday 14 August 2023, the Proactive Investigation Unit of the Cross River State office of the Public Complaints Commission led by the Honourable Commissioner of the State, Hon. Obi Steve Owan, paid a visit on Tuesday 15 August 2023, to the Vice Chancellor University of Calabar, Prof.(Mrs) Florence Obi in her office.

The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman, Rob Behrens spoke out about the defensive NHS culture prioritising the protection of organisational reputation over patient safety following the conviction of a neonatal nurse. 

A judgment has been made that it is inappropriate to disallow the change of workplace due to the overdue period of application for the change, even though a farm owner terminated a labor contract without agreement with foreign workers. The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC, Chairperson Kim Hong-Il) expressed its opinion on the matter to the head of the Regional Employment and Labor Administration.

Ombudswoman Tena Šimonović Einwalter submitted in July 2023 to the UN Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) a Shadow Report on the Implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination in Croatia.

The Control Yuan (CY) hosted a premiere event for new introduction videos, along with an award ceremony for a painting competition on 11 July 2023.
