South Africa | Public Protector commemorates Women’s Month in Limpopo

Pertinent issues affecting women formed part of Public Protector Adv. Busisiwe Mkhwebane’s address during her office’s commemoration of Women’s Month in Limpopo on Wednesday, 23 August 2017.

Adv. Mkhwebane visited Leeuwfontein village, outside Marble Hall to commemorate the month dedicated to celebrate the heroism of women.

The event also served as the Public Protector’s makeshift service point for the day, where the locals were allowed to register any service failure or conduct against any organ of state. This is in line with the Public Protector’s vision of ensuring that the services of her office are available to the people especially those in the grassroots.

Adv. Mkhwebane was accompanied by investigators from her office in the province to register any complaint lodged.
