London man has to give up job after council houses him in Birmingham
A man had to give up one of his jobs because he was given accommodation in Birmingham – leaving him with a three hour commute. An investigation by the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman has found London Borough of Merton at fault because it did not take into account the man’s employment status when making the offer of accommodation so far away.

La Defensoría del Pueblo de Santa Fe pone a disposición la Guía de Respuestas Inclusivas en un contexto local, elaborada sobre la base de los lineamientos de la Guía Práctica de la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA). Su objetivo es poner al alcance de todas las personas las indicaciones, recomendaciones y lineamientos señalados por organismos nacionales e internacionales de derechos humanos, como también la aplicación de las medidas dispuestas con relación a los derechos de los grupos vulnerables en el marco de la pandemia de COVID-19.
