En el marco del convenio que se firmó con el Tribunal Electoral, la Defensoría del Pueblo realizó el pasado 5 de mayo de 2019 el proceso de observación electoral en 170 centros de votación a nivel nacional. La institución pudo observar un total de 2,008 mesas de votaciones, entre las que se encontraban 18 centros penitenciarios.

In its continued efforts in improving health service delivery the Office of the Ombudsman (OoO) in collaboration with the Quality Management Department of the Ministry of Health and Population is conducting a training for Hospital Ombudsman from the South East zone health facilities. The training was held at Palm Valley Lodge in Thyolo from the 17th to 18th of April, 2019.
