From 27 - 31 October 2025, the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman will host its annual Complaint Handling Forum. The 5-part virtual forum will feature speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including an Ombudsman panel discussion featuring the Commonwealth Ombudsman, Iain Anderson, Tax Ombudsman, Ruth Owen and Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, Cynthia Gebert.

La Defensoría del Pueblo encontró una serie de deficiencias en las obras de captación de agua, la ausencia de un sistema de tratamiento, además de irregularidades en diversos componentes del sistema de alcantarillado.

The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab took part as a featured contributor, sharing practical experience and institutional insights on the application of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System within an ombudsman framework.

The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO) has presented its Annual Report and Accounts to parliament for the period April 2024 to March 2025. For the second consecutive year, the Ombudsman saw a 15% increase in the number of new complaints registered.

León y Valladolid vuelven a ser las provincias de la Comunidad que acumulan un mayor número de quejas. Administración local, Fomento, Empleo Público y Sanidad son las materias que acaparan el mayor número de quejas presentadas. Se han recibido 17 quejas múltiples que han dado lugar a la tramitación de 4.078 expedientes.
