New Secretary General Bernhard Achitz takes office
On 10 March 2025, Mr. Bernhard Achitz took office as the new Secretary General of the International Ombudsman Institute. He succeeds Gaby Schwarz in this important role and is looking forward to continuing the important work and services, which the IOI provides to its members around the world. He thanks Ms. Schwarz for her strong commitment and service to the IOI.

Le nouveau Secrétaire général Bernhard Achitz prend ses fonctions
Le 10 mars 2025, M. Bernhard Achitz a pris ses fonctions de nouveau Secrétaire général de l'Institut International de l'Ombudsman. Il succède à Gaby Schwarz à ce poste important et se réjouit de poursuivre le travail et les services importants que l'IIO fournit à ses membres dans le monde entier. Il remercie Mme Schwarz pour son fort engagement et service à l'IIO.

On 1 July 2013 Dr. Günther Kräuter took office as Member of the Austrian Ombudsman Board and was appointed IOI Secretary General by the Austrian Ombudsman Board in its inaugural session.

The amount of 9 locals - who reside at moo 9 and moo 20, Muang Kao sub-district, Prachin Buri province - had submitted an appeal to the Ombudsman to find facts on the actions of the Provincial Electricity Authority - Kabin Buri Office and of the Muang Kao Sub-district Administrative Office about not expanding the electricity distribution area which has had an impact on them for more than 50-years.

Control Yuan Members Inspect Kinmen County, Address Remote Island Issues on Healthcare, Inter-Island Transportation, and Youth Entrepreneurship
