The African Ombudsman Research Centre organized a webinar on 20 January 2026 titled “Implementing ISO 9001:2015: Strengthening Quality Management and Accountability in African Ombudsman Institutions”. The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab took part as a featured contributor, sharing practical experience and institutional insights on the application of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System within an ombudsman framework.

La defensoría de la ciudad publica el informe monográfico "Los servicios de atención a las violencias sexuales en la ciudad de Barcelona", en el que han participado más de un centenar de personas que trabajan en servicios sociales y sanitarios y en entidades autogestionadas. Así mismo, se han analizado protocolos y otros documentos específicos, así como los 18 servicios especializados que existen en la ciudad.

The Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman (LGSCO) has presented its Annual Report and Accounts to parliament for the period April 2024 to March 2025. For the second consecutive year, the Ombudsman saw a 15% increase in the number of new complaints registered.
