Enquête sur les conditions de détention des personnes purgeant des peines discontinues au Québec
Dans un rapport d’enquête spéciale publié le 21 mars 2018, le Protecteur du citoyen du Québec dénonce les conditions de détention des personnes incarcérées avec une peine discontinue (peine purgée de façon intermittente) dans les établissements de détention québécois. La hausse des peines discontinues amplifie le problème de surpopulation qui affecte plusieurs de ces établissements, particulièrement les samedis et dimanches.
