    The Office of the Ombudsman has released the 2023 Annual Report which presents the activities that the Office carried out in the year. Pursuant to the Constitution of the Republic of Malawi and the Ombudsman Act, the Ombudsman has submitted the report to the National Assembly through the Office of the speaker.

    The Commissioner for Administration and the Protection of Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Cyprus issued a statement regarding the measures taken to combat the coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) and their compatibility with human rights law.     Ombudsman of Curaçao elected as Regional President for Caribbean and Latin-America

    The Caribbean and Latin American region of the IOI, one of the six regions, elected the Ombudsman of Curaçao, Mr. Keursly Concincion, as its Regional President on June, 25th 2024. Mr. Concincion was the only candidate standing for the position. The current appointment is for four years.
