En esta publicación participan junto a la Defensoría andaluza la Defensoría del Pueblo de Bolivia, el Síndic de Greuges de Cataluña, el Ararteko vasco, la Defensoría del Pueblo de Perú, la Comisión estatal de Derechos Humanos del Estado de Nuevo León (México) y la Comisión de Derechos Humanos de la Ciudad de México.

Ararteko Research Study: Sexist Attitudes among the Youth
In October 2024, the Ararteko-Ombudsman of the Basque Country presented a research “Study on Sexist Attitudes among the Youth and Adolescent Population of the Basque Country”. The research is intended to allow a better understanding of the phenomenon of sexist attitudes among the youth and adolescence and extract a series of conclusions, to use them as a basis for recommendations to support decision-makers and improve public policies on gender equality.

Mistreatment of people with disabilities in social services has among others systemic causes, warns Ombudsman
Based on findings of the Public Defender's visit to a home for persons with disabilities, the Ombudsman warns that the mistreatment of people with disabilities in social services has - among others - systemic causes as well. People with severe mental disabilities are very vulnerable and dependent on the care of others. It is all the more serious to find that they are exposed to mistreatment in what should be a safe home for them.

Inició el ciclo de charlas Comenzamos por Casa en el marco de la Semana de la Acción Climática
En el marco de la Semana de la Acción Climática, que se desarrolló entre el 24 y el 28 de octubre, la Defensoría del Pueblo de la provincia de Santa Fe llevó adelante diferentes acciones vinculadas con la promoción de los derechos ambientales por lo que en conjunto con el Taller Ecologista dieron inicio al ciclo de disertaciones Comenzamos por Casa con el objetivo de ampliar los conocimientos del personal de la institución sobre las problemáticas ambientales.
