ISRAEL | Online international conference on "Advancing the rights of the elderly in an age of longevity" - Registration now open

We are happy to inform you that registration has opened for the online international conference on the theme "Advancing the rights of the elderly in an age of longevity", which will take place on 1 December 2021, under the auspices of the IOI and AOM.

The international online conference will discuss the unique challenges facing ombuds institutions throughout the world pertaining to upholding and advancing the rights of the elderly.

You are invited to complete this registration form and submit it to the Office of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman of Israel.

You are also reminded to fill out this online questionnaire on the role of the ombudsman in advancing the rights of the elderly. The data obtained from the questionnaire will be presented during the conference. Kindly fill in the questionnaire by 22 October 2021.

Since it is not possible to save the document and edit it at a later stage, the questionnaire is also attached in Word format to enable you to draft (and edit) your answers before filling out the digital document itself.

We look forward to your participation in this special event, in celebration of the Israel Ombudsman's Jubilee year!

Pre-recorded congratulatory messages of up to15 seconds long would be very welcome. The video messages should be filmed horizontally and sent via Google Drive, We Transfer.com or Jumbomail.me to ombudsman_isr@mevaker.gov.il.
