Pakistan | Office of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh and Transparency International Pakistan sign MoU

The Office of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh (POS) and Transparency International Pakistan (TI-Pakistan) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 11th November, 2025 to strengthen transparency, promote good governance, and ensure better, free, and speedy justice for citizens across Sindh. The signing ceremony, held at the POS Headquarters, was led by Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Mr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput and Chairman TI-Pakistan Justice (R) Zia Pervez, and attended by senior officials from both institutions.

Under the MoU, both organizations will collaborate on enhancing public awareness of legal rights, expanding citizen access to grievance redressal mechanisms, co-organizing community outreach activities, and strengthening institutional coordination for the timely resolution of complaints.

Both signatories emphasized that the partnership represents a significant step toward advancing administrative justice and public accountability in Sindh. They noted that closer cooperation between POS and TI-Pakistan will boost public confidence in formal complaint channels and further institutionalize fair, accessible, and people-centered justice services.
