LUXEMBOURG | Claudine Konsbruck appointed new Ombudsman for Luxembourg

After 33 years in the public service, Claudine Konsbruck is appointed new Ombudsman.

Claudine Konsbruck was born in 1966 in Luxembourg City.

After graduating from the Athénée de Luxembourg in 1985, she obtained a Master's degree in private law in Strasbourg in  1989.

She joined the Ministry of Justice in 1992 for Luxembourg's presidency of the European Union.

Throughout her career, she has held various positions within the Ministry of Justice. She has dealt in particular with cases and legislation involving criminal law, administrative law, and the legal framework of various legal professions.

In May 2025, she succeeds to Claudia Monti as Ombudsman of Luxembourg.
