It was an absolute pleasure for IOI President Field to meet the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Ms. Urška Klakočar Zupančič, who has a strong interest in human rights. 

On the occasion of his official visit to Slovenia, IOI President Chris Field PSM, was very pleased to undertake a live interview for the RTV Channel 1 Slovenia program, Odmevi. Odmevi is Slovenia’s most viewed news television show and offers evening news analysing the most important events of the day.

Immediately following his meeting with the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Nataša Pirc Musar, it was a privilege for IOI President Chris Field PSM, to accompany President Musar and Human Rights Ombudsman Peter Svetina to visit the day care centre, Hiša dobre volje, in Miren near Nova Gorica.

IOI President Chris Field PSM, had the honour of meeting the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Dr Nataša Pirc Musar, at the Presidential Palace, on the occasion of his official visit to Slovenia.

On 6 June, IOI Secretary General Gaby Schwarz welcomed the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Volker Türk, at the premises of the Austrian Ombudsman Board to discuss the common goal of “protecting and promoting human rights”, and review possible areas of collaboration between the IOI and the UN.
