Australia | Western Australia Ombudsman releases disability access and inclusion plan

The Office of Western Australia Ombudsman Chris Field presented its draft Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2015-2020 (DAIP) to outline the ways in which the office will ensure that all people in Western Australia have equitable and inclusive access to the Ombudsman’s services, facilities and information.

Ombudsman Chris Field stresses that “accessibility and inclusion is absolutely central to the institution of the Ombudsman” and the office is therefore committed to providing optimum access and service to people with disabilities and their families.

Ombudsman Field further explained that “our office will use this plan to ensure we continue to provide the access and inclusion that our stakeholders rightly expect of us and that we commit to deliver!”
