BAHRAIN | Ombudsman for the Ministry of Interior organizes a training session on investigation skills

On 2 and 3 December 2013 the Office of the Ombudsman for the Ministry of Interior in Bahrain organised a training session on "Investigation Skills" in which former Northern Ireland's Prisoner Ombudsman Pauline McCabe and Senior Investigating Officer in Northern Ireland Clare McVeigh lectured.

The course is one in a series of the on-going training and development programmes organised by Ombudsman for its cadres in order to inform them about international expertise, regarding technical and professional aspects of basic work mechanisms, including receiving complaints, investigating and dealing with the complainants and witnesses.

Deputy Secretary General of the Ombudsman Osama Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor stated that vocational rehabilitation by professional experts is the cornerstone of Ombudsman's work.
