IOI | First IOI media training for French-speaking members successfully concluded

From 20 to 22 October 2025, the IOI hosted its first media training for its French-speaking members in collaboration with the renowned British media agency Media First.

Participants from Africa, Europe and North-America learned different techniques to successfully perform in a TV or print interview from experienced media trainer and journalist Dickon Hooper.

In addition to doing multiple practice interviews with their trainer, they also had the opportunity to directly apply their theoretical knowledge by using Media First’s brand new AI coach Thirty Seven, which they will be able to practice with for another month after the training.

According to the very positive feedback, Ombudspersons and communication professionals from across the globe found the training very engaging and effective.

The IOI strives to regularly offer high-quality training on diverse issues for its members in line with Goal 2 of its Strategic Plan 2024-2028.
