HUNGARY | Commissioner for Fundamental Rights publishes NPM Report 2015

In accordance with the Section 3 of the Act CXLIII of 2011 on the Promulgation of the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights shall act as the “National Preventive Mechanism” as of 01 January 2015.

Following the Section 39/C of the Act CXI of 2011 on the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, the National Preventive Mechanism shall prepare annually a comprehensive report on its activity, which has to be published on the Office’s website.

The Commissioner for Fundamental Rights is pleased to present the electronic version of the first "Comprehensive Annual Report of the Commissioner for Fundamental Rights on the Activities of the OPCAT National Preventive Mechanism in 2015”.
