La institución del Valedor do Pobo emitió una recomendación a la AXencia Galega para a Modernización TecnolóXica de Galicia (AMTEGA) priorice la transición a software libre de todos los servicios que pone la Xunta de Galicia a disposición de la ciudadanía. La institución da por aceptada una recomendación en la que se instó a priorizar la adaptación de los procedimientos electrónicos a software sin licencia, en especial los de concurrencia competitiva y que sólo admiten una tramitación electrónica.

The Public Protector, Mrs Caroline C.Z Sokoni paid a courtesy call on the Minister of National Guidance and Religious Affairs, Hon. Rev Godfridah Sumaili, on Tuesday 10th July 2018. The two leaders explored among other issues ways of collaborating between the two institutions in the promotion of national values and social justice among Zambians.

Ombudsman Hong Kong to investigate allocation of swimming lanes in public swimming pools
On 17 July 2018, the Ombudsman, Ms Connie Lau, announced a direct investigation into the mechanism of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) for allocating swimming lanes in public swimming pools to examine whether the mechanism is effective and the department has fulfilled its responsibility as the monitoring authority.

Ombudsman’s Office to take role in monitoring private aged care facilities / court cells
The Office of the Ombudsman will soon be monitoring the treatment of patients in privately run aged care facilities and detainees in court cells. The additional responsibilities were gazetted today. They are in addition to the Office’s current responsibilities under the United Nation’s Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture (OPCAT).

Al detectar reiteradas persecuciones a las opiniones e ideas que expresan las y los adolescentes en las redes sociales, se propone esta campaña para circulación exclusiva en redes.

CNDH requests implementation of precautionary measures to promote protection of human rights defenders and journalists
The National Commission of Human Rights (CNDH) requests the Secretariats of the Interior (SEGOB), and Finance and Public Credit (SHCP) to implement measures to avoid the disprotection, motivated by the lack of resources, of 727 beneficiaries secured by the Mechanism for the Protection of Rights Defenders Humans and Journalists (MPPDDHP).

La Defensoría del Pueblo advirtió acerca del cuadro tarifario de Gas
La Defensoría del Pueblo se refirió al nuevo cuadro tarifario aprobado por Enargas que entró en vigencia el 1 de abril y señaló que el mismo no considera la situación socioeconómica de los usuarios y la evolución de salarios y de la economía en general. En el mismo sentido remarcó una serie de items a tener presentes por los usuarios.

Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos solicita información sobre separaciones familiares
El día 22 de junio de 2018 la Comisión Interamericana de Derechos Humanos (CIDH) solicitó formalmente al gobierno de los Estados Unidos de Norteamérica que envíe información detallada acerca de la localización y el tratamiento que se ha dado a las niñas, niños y adolescentes migrantes separados de sus familias, así como el proceso de reunificación que implementará para reunirlos nuevamente con sus familiares.

CCAC Macao published Annual Report 2017
According to the Organic Law of the Commission Against Corruption of the Macao Special Administrative Region, the Commissioner Against Corruption, Cheong Weng Chon, submitted 2017 Annual Report of the Commission Against Corruption of Macao to the Chief Executive, Chui Sai On, in March 2018. The report was published in the Official Gazette of the Macao Special Administrative Region today (11th April).
