In accordance with provisions of the Minor Offences Act, a court may force an offender who fails to pay a fine partially or entirely within the specified time limit to pay said fine by imposing on him or her fine enforcement by imprisonment. Ombudsman’s staff members participated in a round table where the final report on a survey studying the features and causes of Domestic Violence (DV) against women in Azerbaijan was presented to the corresponding authorities and the public.
