Ombudsman Board presents Annual Report 2010
"In 2010 the Austrian Ombudsman Board (AOB) took care of the requests of more than 15 000 people, and 6 600 investigation procedures were initiated to control administrative decisions. In more than 17 percent of all investigation procedures the AOB confirmed a case of maladministration," AOB Chair Peter Kostelka summarised last year's activities on the occasion of the annual report presentation on 28 April in Vienna. An international version of the annual report in English highlighting human rights related cases will be published in June 2011.

The Ombudsman expects from the new terminal areas of the Liszt Ferenc airport that it will be suitable to tackle those infringements which were previously found by the ombudsman's inspections. Prof. Mate Szabo has turned to the Government and the management of the Budapest airport to regulate and develop the conditions of the security control of the passengers and the airport workers.

Dentro de la población presa, las personas extranjeras representan un colectivo de alta vulnerabilidad. La Procuración Penitenciaria de la Nación menciona que las cuestiones idiomáticas, alimenticias, condiciones climáticas adversas y el aislamiento social, cultural y familiar sobredimensionan los padecimientos del encarcelamiento.

Ombudsman to be designated as OPCAT NPM
On 14 April 2011, the National Assembly of Bulgaria passed the law on the ratification of OPCAT. The law should be promulgated and enter into force. Agreement has been reached that the Ombudsman be designated as NPM.

Le Médiateur du Faso, Madame Saran Sereme Sere a remis officiellement le lundi 24 décembre 2018, les rapports 2015, 2016 et 2017 de l’Institution au Président du Faso. La remise officielle du rapport d’activités annuel est une disposition consacrée par la loi n° n° 017-2013/AN du 16 mai 2013 portant attributions, organisation et fonctionnement du Médiateur du Faso.
