Therefore, there is a need to assess the performance of schools and the quality of education.

FRA calls for solutions towards humane and effective migration
The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) called for humane and effective solutions in migration issues on International Migrants Day on 18 December. FRA highlighted that in 2019, migrants globally will top an estimated 272 million, of which many move by choice. However, many others flee armed conflict, persecution, or serious human rights violations. In 2018, the number of forcibly displaced people broke 70 million for the first time ever.

The Hon'ble Provincial Ombudsman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Jamalud Din Shah, inaugurated the Ombudsman Regional Office on August 08, 2023. Alongside the inauguration, an awareness campaign to the public about the role and responsibilities of the Ombudsman Institution took place at the University of Swat. Ombudsman Winnie Chiu announced the completion of the direct investigation into the operational arrangements for statutory visits under the Justices of the Peace Visit Programme (“JP Visit Programme”). The Ombudsman made 13 recommendations for improvement to the Administration Wing, the Correctional Services Department, the Immigration Department, the Hospital Authority, and the Social Welfare Department.
