El Defensor del Pueblo de Navarra entrega al Presidente del Parlamento de Navarra el Informe anual correspondiente a 2020
El Presidente del Parlamento, Unai Hualde, ha recibido hoy en su despacho oficial a Francisco Javier Enériz, Defensor del Pueblo de la Comunidad Foral, quien le ha hecho entrega formal del Informe Anual correspondiente al ejercicio 2020, un dossier que contempla 3.393 actuaciones, 505 más que en 2019, lo que supone un aumento del 17,5 %.

El Procurador del Común entrega al Presidente de las Cortes el Informe Anual correspondiente al año 2020, ejercicio en el que se tramitaron 6.342 expedientes
Un total de 1807 expedientes estuvieron referidos a la situación provocada por la Covid-19, en gran parte relacionados con la sanidad, la educación y las residencias de mayores. Se dictaron cerca de un millar de resoluciones, con un grado de aceptación del 78,68 % de las recomendaciones dirigidas a las Administraciones.

Independent National Whistleblowing Officer service for the NHS launches
Today marks the launch of the Independent National Whistleblowing Officer (INWO) service for the NHS in Scotland. The date coincides with the implementation of the new National Whistleblowing Standards (the Standards) which also go live today. This was previously agreed by the Scottish Government and the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO), who will take on the new role of INWO.

Clinic for law students under the auspices of the Israel Ombudsman
The Office of the Israel Ombudsman, in conjunction with the College of Safed Law School in northern Israel, is operating a clinic for law students on the subject: The Office of the Israel Ombudsman. The purpose of the clinic is to increase awareness of the Ombudsman's Office among residents of northern Israel, an area with a high concentration of minority populations including Arabs and new immigrants.
