2013-07-03Control Yuan holds staff exchange program with Asian-Pacific and African Counterparts
The 2013 Staff Exchange Program between the Control Yuan and Ombudsman/Human Rights Offices overseas was held from June 24 to 26. The program was joined by eight participants from Thailand, Vietnam, Kiribati, Nauru, Solomon Islands, Fiji, the Gambia and Swaziland.

On 26 June 2013, the Australian Parliament passed the Public Interest Disclosure Bill, legislation which establishes the first stand-alone whistleblower protection scheme for federal public servants, contractors and employees of contractors who report wrongdoing within the Commonwealth public sector.

2013-06-20Public Services Ombudsman for Wales publishes Annual Report
The Annual Report of the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales reveals that once again there has been an increase in the volume of casework. The number of complaints about public service providers has continued to rise, up 12% on 2011/12. The greatest increase has again been in relation to health bodies, up 30% on the previous year.
