Veterans Ombudsman releases New Veterans Charter Action Plan
Canada's Veterans Ombudsman, released his report on the New Veterans Charter accompanied by an Actuarial Analysis. The report puts forward evidenced-based recommendations that address shortcomings in three New Veterans Charter program areas: financial, vocational rehabilitation and assistance, and family support. This is the first time that recommendations for improvements have been supported by an actuarial analysis that pinpoint exactly where the current suite of New Veterans Charter benefits are failing some Veterans today.

The Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Asad Ashraf Malik ordered Sindh Building Control Authority to remove a mobile phone booster antenna from a residential building to avoid health hazard to citizens and ensure compliance to law forbidding installation of antenna within 300 meters of a residential area.

El Defensor del Pueblo de la provincia de Santa Fe, Dr. Edgardo José Bistoletti, recomendó a todas las instituciones (públicas y privadas) de la provincia incorporar Desfibriladores Externos Automáticos (DEA) a los fines de responder eficientemente ante la posibilidad de que alguien sufra una paro cardíaco mientras trabaja o está por alguna razón en el establecimiento.
