South African Military Ombud meets with the Ombudsman of Malawi
The Office of South African Military Ombud Lt Gen (Ret) Vusumuzi Masondo held a meeting on the 2nd March 2023 with the Ombudsman of Malawi, Hon Grace Tinkambenji Malera, who was in the country on a study visit and to learn lessons learnt concerning the sectoral ombudsman office.

5th Newsletter on the situation on the Ukrainian-Hungarian border
In his 5th newsletter edition, the Hungarian Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Dr. Ákos Kozma, amongst others, visited the Lónya Help Point and the border crossing point located between Lónya and Dzvinkove and he and his staff members handed over the donations collected for the Lónya Help Point to the volunteers of the Hungarian Red Cross.

The Dutch National Ombudsman, the Ombudsman for Children and the Ombudsman for Veterans present their Annual Report 2021
The Dutch National Ombudsman, the Ombudsman for Children and the Ombudsman for Veterans have today presented their Annual Report 2021 to the House of Representatives. In it, they note that the resignation of the Dutch government in early 2021, the March elections and the long process that followed in forming a government resulted in a year of government silence and official introspection.

Illegal business of acid and nickel polish in residential area removed on the intervention of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh
A complaint was filed against illegal business of acid & nickel polish by some private persons in residential compound without any NOC/License of the relevant agency. The home based unit was operating with huge quantity of chemicals and the used material was drained through sewerage system of the area creating environmental hazard for the residents.
