Institutions interested in applying for a regional subsidy have to submit their project proposal to the IOI General Secretariat by 25 February 2013.

Correctional Investigator treating Prison Self-injury
The 39th Annual Report of the Office of the Correctional Investigator was recently tabled in Parliament. In releasing his report, the Correctional Investigator of Canada, Mr. Howard Sapers, called attention to the dramatic increase in the number and prevalence of serious self-injury incidents in federal prisons.

Assisting the social reintegration of prisoners who have served their sentence requires an active attitude and expenditures both from the state and the society. Considering this, the state can not rely solely on the voluntary activity of civil organizations.
