On Wednesdays, October 28th 2020 at the Office of the Ombudsman, Thailand, Chief Ombudsman, General Viddhavat Rajatanun signed the Memorandum of Intent on the Establishment of the South East Asian Ombudsman Forum (SEAOF). On the auspicious signing ceremony, Ombudsman, Mr. Somsak Suwansujarit, accompanied by the Executives of Office of the Ombudsman, Thailand was the witnesses of the significant milestone.

Mediante un informe, la Defensoría del Pueblo del Perú pidió al Poder Ejecutivo y a los gobiernos locales incrementar la inversión pública y privada en favor de la limpieza de las ciudades y la erradicación de los basurales urbanos y rurales. Asimismo, solicitó a los municipios una mejora en la provisión de los servicios de barrido, limpieza de espacios públicos y recolección selectiva de residuos.

Ombudsman Hong Kong announces results of own-motion investigations
The Ombudsman of Hong Kong, China, Ms Winnie CHIU, held a press conference on 29 October 2020 to announce the results of two own-motion investigations; one into the maintenance and repair of play and fitness equipment in public rental housing estates and the other one into the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department’s practice of outsourcing street cleansing services.
