2011-11-03New Alberta Ombudsman sworn in
On October 18, 2011, Peter Hourihan was sworn in as Alberta’s eighth Ombudsman. Over the course of his 35 year career with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), Mr. Hourihan worked in a variety of policing roles, most recently serving as the Commanding Officer for the RCMP in British Columbia, responsible for federal, provincial and municipal police operations.

El defensor del Pueblo santafesino reiteró su planteo de que los incrementos en el precio del gas envasado se definan con la participación de los usuarios, ya que afectan principalmente a los sectores de menores ingresos, que no cuentan con gas por red. Fue tras la cuarta suba de este servicio en lo que va del año. En términos interanuales el aumento alcanza el 124 por ciento.
