Rencontres et déplacements : la Défenseure des droits s’installe au plus près du terrain
Dès son entrée en fonction le 23 juillet 2020, la Défenseure des droits Claire Hédon est allée à la rencontre des acteurs publics et institutionnels et des délégués dans les territoires. La Défenseure des droits s’est ainsi rendue afin de rencontrer les représentants de l’association La Sauvegarde, une association que intervenant pour la protection de l’enfance; cette association a abordé les cas des mineurs isolés.

Special monitoring report of preschool institutions
The Public Defender of Georgia presented a special report on the results of the monitoring carried out in preschool educational institutions. The report was prepared with the support of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) within the framework of a project on "Strengthening the Capacity of the Center for the Rights of the Child".

2019 Report on NPM Acitvities
The Report on the Performance of the NPM for 2019 contains an overview and analysis of the state of human rights of persons deprived of liberty and with restricted freedom of movement. During the reporting year the Croatian People's Ombudswoman acted in a total of 203 cases, issuing 35 warnings, recommendations and suggestions.

Defensoría del Pueblo: se deben investigar órdenes de entierro en hospital de Tumbes
La oficina de la Defensoría del Pueblo en Tumbes demandó al Hospital Regional II-2 “José Alfredo Mendoza Olavarria” iniciar una investigación, en el marco de un debido procedimiento administrativo, con el fin de identificar a las funcionarias, los funcionarios y/o el personal de salud que ordenaron el entierro de dos ciudadanos en el cementerio COVID-19, pese a que ambos fallecieron por otras causas.

Victorian Ombudsman publishes report on alleged politicisation of public sector
On 6 December 2023, the Victorian Ombudsman tabled in Parliament her report Alleged politicisation of the public sector: Investigation of a matter referred from the Legislative Council on 9 February 2022 – Part 2. It stemmed from a motion requiring the Ombudsman to investigate several matters, including an allegation about the politicisation of the public sector.

Prison and Probation Service should do more to ensure legal rights of inmates placed in disciplinary cells
The Prison and Probation Service should do more to ensure the legal rights of inmates who are to be placed in disciplinary cells. This is the Ombudsman’s assessment following monitoring visits to 11 local prisons, five state prisons and one immigration detention centre under the Prison and Probation Service.
