La Sindicatura insta al Ayuntamiento a no incluir marcas de bebidas alcohólicas en los soportes publicitarios municipales
La defensoría inició una actuación de oficio sobre la posición del consistorio hacia la colaboración con empresas de bebidas alcohólicas, sobre todo en lo que se refiere a los anuncios en el espacio público. Desde hace años, los planes municipales sobre adicciones proponen ir más allá del estricto cumplimiento de la ley, que permite excepciones a la publicidad exterior y a los acuerdos de patrocinio. En otros casos, como el del tabaco, se ha demostrado que este tipo de medidas disminuyen su consumo.

Las defensorías reclaman políticas públicas que garanticen la inclusión y la igualdad de oportunidades en educación
La síndica de greuges, Esther Giménez-Salinas, y otros miembros de su equipo han asistido a las XXXVIII Jornadas de Coordinación de Defensorías del Pueblo, que han tenido lugar en Zaragoza. Este encuentro anual está pensado para reforzar la relación entre las defensorías españolas, y cada año se aborda un tema distinto. Este año, el tema escogido ha sido la vulnerabilidad en las aulas y, en concreto, cómo afectan las desigualdades socioeconómicas, la discapacidad, la salud mental o el territorio al pleno ejercicio del derecho a la educación real y efectiva de las personas.

The report concerns the 885 children who died in NSW in 2022 and 2023 and includes information about longer term trends in child mortality between 2009 and 2023.

Capacity Building through FOSPAH Collaboration
The Office of the Ombudsman Punjab has always placed great emphasis on creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace environment across its offices. In line with this commitment, a series of training sessions were organized in collaboration with the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection against Harassment (FOSPAH) under the Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010.
