First Lady launches anti-corruption campaign 2020
The First Lady Mrs Janet Museveni launched the Anti-Corruption Campaign 2020 at State House Entebbe with a call on fighting corruption right from the family level. The function was organised by the Inspectorate of Government (IGG) in partnership with the Global Leadership Summit. It was attended by heads of anti-corruption agencies and representatives from Justice, the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda and the Global Leadership Summit.

NPM visits reception and accommodation centre in Kokkinotrimithia
The Commissioner for Administration and the Protection of Human Rights (Ombudsman), published a report regarding a visit to the Reception and Accommodation Center in Kokkinotrimithia on 4 December 2020, which was made within the framework of her jurisdiction as National Human Rights Institution (NHRI) and National Preventive Mechanism (NPM).

2019 Report on NPM Acitvities
The Report on the Performance of the NPM for 2019 contains an overview and analysis of the state of human rights of persons deprived of liberty and with restricted freedom of movement. During the reporting year the Croatian People's Ombudswoman acted in a total of 203 cases, issuing 35 warnings, recommendations and suggestions.

Virtual consultation for the IE SOGI’s work plan 2021-2023
The Independent Expert on protection against violence and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity (IE SOG”) is convening an open consultation to consolidate the mandate’s approaches and priorities for the remainder of tenure (i.e. his work plan for 2021-2023). A virtual consultation will be held on 20 November 2020 where participants are invited to present their views and provide inputs to the discussion.
