La Procuración Penitenciaria de la Nación presentó dicho recurso el pasado 14 de noviembre en el marco de un pedido de arresto domiciliario para un detenido que se encuentra en grave estado de salud. El trámite se cursó ante el Tribunal Oral Criminal y Correccional Nº 28 de la CABA. Se torna urgente una pronta respuesta.

El defensor del Pueblo de Santa Fe a cargo de la Defensoría de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes Gabriel Savino, participó el viernes, el 18 de agosto de 2023 de una reunión con representantes del Poder Judicial, del Ministerio de Seguridad de la provincia y autoridades de la Unidad Regional II con el objetivo de articular acciones para el abordaje integral y protocolizar prácticas que cuenten con el enfoque de niñez y adolescencia.

"Accessibility and Customization of the Investigation Procedure for Persons with Disability" - Symposium for the staff of the Office of the Ombudsman of Israel
On 9 July 2023, the staff of the Office of the Ombudsman participated in a symposium on the topic "Accessibility and Customization of the Investigation Procedure for Persons with Disability". The symposium, which took place at the main office of the Ombudsman in Jerusalem, focused on the verbal and written communication between staff of the Office of the Ombudsman and complainants with disability. The symposium was chaired by a blind staff member of the Office of the Ombudsman.

Provincial Ombudsman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa inaugurated a regional office and held awareness raising campaign about the Ombudsman institution at Swat
The Hon'ble Provincial Ombudsman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Jamalud Din Shah, inaugurated the Ombudsman Regional Office on August 08, 2023. Alongside the inauguration, an awareness campaign to the public about the role and responsibilities of the Ombudsman Institution took place at the University of Swat. This awareness raising campaign was supported by the IOI's Regional Subsidies Program.

The People's Advocate published report on monitoring the rights of refugees in the country
In the first half of 2023, the Ombudsman of the Republic of Moldova continued to carry out a careful and exhaustive analysis of the way in which the national public authorities managed the situation of foreign refugees on the territory of the country as a result of the armed conflict in Ukraine. As a result of this monitoring, the People’s Advocate together with his team prepared a detailed report, which was published now.
