Control Yuan urges three-level prevention of sexual assaults of children and youths
The protection of the rights of children and youths in Taiwan should be in line with international standards, and the securing of their personal safety is an even more pressing concern. To effectively prevent these young people suffering sexual assaults, Control Yuan (CY) urged the government to examine the existing mechanisms by launching an investigation entitled “Discussion on the Effectiveness of the Government’s Implementation of Preventing the Sexual Assault of Children and Youths.”

Ombudsman John Walters bids farewell with the offices Annaul Report 2020 - a year which was, without a doubt, the most significant year. On 21 March Namibia celebrated its 30th Independence Anniversary with the Covid-19 pandemic on our doorsteps. Despite the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Office managed to comply with its statutory duties and to commemorate 30 years of Ombudsmanship in Namibia with the publication of a 30th Anniversary Commemorative Book.

Control Yuan presents 90th Anniversary Special Issue
On 29 July 2021, the Control Yuan officially released “The Control Yuan 90th Anniversary Special Issue.” 2021 marks the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Control Yuan (CY). At the end of 2020, President Chu CHEN instructed CY Secretary General Judy, Fu-meei JU to start compiling an anniversary special issue in the hopes of showcasing the positive work that the CY does in helping the workings of government.
